Where is Edinburgh Central Lets based?

We are based in Edinburgh city centre so have excellent local knowledge of the city and can advise you on which property would best suit your needs.

We have visited most of the  apartments on our site and have been in contact  with the owners or managers in order to provide you with the most accurate information to help you choose your perfect property.


Is a deposit required to book an apartment?

Yes, Edinburgh Central Lets takes a 10% deposit to book any of the apartments on our website. This can be taken from a debit or credit card securely through our terminal or By PayPal.


Who do I pay the balance to?

The remaining balance of your booking is due to the owner of the property usually 56 days before arrival. The owner's details will be provided to you in your confirmation email once the deposit paid. The owner will then get in touch with you to determine when and how the remaining balance is due.


What happens after I book?

After you have paid your deposit and received your booking confirmation, the owner of the property will be in contact with you to arrange payment of the remaining balance and provide you with information on how to collect the keys.

However, if you do not hear from anyone within 24 hours, please email or call the owner on the email and phone numbers provided within your booking confirmation if you have any questions or have an imminent arrival.


What are the terms of booking?

What do you do with my information?

All of your contact details (excluding any credit or debit card information you may have provided to us) will be forwarded to the owner of the property you have booked for communication and security purposes.


What time is check in and can I arrive early or have a late arrival?

Check in times for most apartments range from 2-3pm until 9pm and check out is usually by 10 or 11am.  Exact times for each property will be advised from the apartment owners directly. If you require an early or late arrival you must request this at the time of reservation as this is not always possible and this may incur an extra charge.


I have an early arrival or late departure. Where can I keep my bags?

There is a left luggage area on platform 2 at Waverly Station, close to the Airlink bus stop which takes you to the airport.


Where can I pick up the keys?

As arrival times are varied the options below might apply.  The owner of the property will be in touch to advise which options they are able to offer but could include the following:

1 - You may be met at the property, where someone will allow you access and show you around.

2 - The owner may be able to send you the property's to your home address once full payment has been made.  In this case advice will be give by phone as to how to gain access to the property. 

3 - The keys may be collected from a designated pick up point and again contact would be made by phone
