The apartment is located in a secure, well maintained building with a lift and audio/visual intercom system and has an allocated parking space.

The flat is stylishly decorated and comprises of - hall, elegant living room with beautiful views across to Arthurs Seat, master bedroom with en suite showerroom, 2nd double bedroom which can be booked as a twin or as a king size bed on request, both bedrooms with built in wardrobes, bathroom, breakfasting kitchen.

The Holyrood Parkgate apartment is a modern apartment with all the facilities and comforts you expect for your holiday. When you enter Parkgate there is a feeling of light and quality with a splash of colour from a Persian carpet leading you into the hall towards the kitchen. This is fitted with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, and washer dryer. There is also a small table and chairs to take coffee for two after a day sightseeing. The living room faces onto Arthurs Seat and has two comfortable couches, a stereo system and television. There is also a dining area for four persons.

Parkgate has two double bedrooms(1 double ,1 twin ) with built in wardrobes. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite shower-room and there is also a family bathroom with another shower. We provide all linen, towels and power. For guests staying more than one week a change of linen is provided each week

Of course the property benefits from full gas central heating and a complimentary welcome pack.

“We loved the apartment on Holyrood Road! We were only a few short blocks from all the action and having the Tesco right next door was extremely convenient. It was great having the walk back at night being downhill. And being on the next road over from the Royal Mile meant it was nice and quiet for sleeping. The apartment was in great shape and well equipped and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!!”

Jayne and Tony were most helpful and kind, always there when needed. Check in exactly as agreed and flexible with check out because of my health problems. Highly appreciated. The apartment was just lovely. Clean, Warm and cosy, everything I needed was there. Very comfortable Bed. The location could not have been better. Many tourist attractions near by and food-shopping at Tesco express a few yards up the road was great. Will certainly come back during my next visit to Edinburgh. Thank you very much

Hello. We would like to thank you for a very enjoyable stay at the Holyrood Apt. In fact, I'd like to write a positive review as I think this always helps others when trying to find somewhere. We thought the apartment was one of the best we have stayed in, in terms of functionality, location, tidiness - actually everything. It was quiet and provided everything we needed. We have 2 young children and the space was perfect. Really appreciated the 'supplies' that were there , but great to have the dishwashing tablets, toilet paper, soap, salt, pepper, cling wrap, garbage bags etc - all little things that guests only need one or two of so don't want to go and buy whole packets. It was great. Secure building so very safe. Jayne was very helpful with all her information. Tescos downstairs as well as a great coffee shop (probably wouldn't recommend Pizza Express but it's there in an emergency!). Holyrood Palace and Dynamic Earth so close, as was Arthur's Seat. Honestly, couldn't fault the place. Thank you.

My family and I were all very happy with how clean and comfortable this apartment was. We felt safe and secure in the building, and the area is wonderful. We were within easy walking distance to the castle, the palace, and great places to eat and shop. There's also a grocery store and coffee shop right next door. Jayne was there to meet us just as she said she would be, and she was very friendly and welcoming. If we're ever lucky enough to visit Edinburgh again, we would most definately want to stay at Holyrood. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant one! Very satisfied with the entire experience.

"The apartment is excellent and very well located" It is a renovated apartment with all amenities, is as shown in the photos, took great care of the owner Jayne Ciancia, which We left a detail of an assortment of coffee, tea, biscuits and a bottle of 1/2 liter of milk in the fridge, and like hotels courtesy shampoo gel, for the first day, counting the apartment with the useful and products necessary cleaning. The apartment's location is excellent since it is parallel to the Royal Mille, and next to it you have a supermarket.

Jayne was an excellent communicator before our arrival and was extremely welcoming and helpful upon meeting and showing us the flat. She took a lot of time in explaining the workings of the apartment and making sure all of our questions were answered. She even made sure we had milk for our tea and left a selection of teas and biscuits to get us started. The apartment was beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, and had everything you could want in terms of comfort. The rooms are spacious and airy and the location could not be more convenient for enjoying the sights of Edinburgh. “Extremely clean, very comfortable, fantastic location, secure parking.” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2014 We were only there for 3 nights, and I wish we had planned to stay at this location longer. We never got a chance to use the well equipped kitchen as there were so many restaurants within walking distance. The building is next to a Tesco for grocery shopping and "liquid' refreshments, and the parking is secure. There is also an elevator - apartment is on the third floor with a view of "Arthurs Seat" from the living room. The Golden Mile can be reached in two minutes through various routes or "closes" at the back of the building. If I'm every back in Edinborough, this is where I'm staying! We have just returned from three wonderful days/nights in Tony and Jayne's Parkgate Apartment. The apartment itself is gorgeous. Modern, fully equipped, clean and spacious. We were two couples, and the twin-room-cum-king-bed was very comfortable. Great to have two bathrooms too. Tony met us at the apartment upon arrival. We were delighted to discover the flat was stocked with basics such as milk, tea, coffee - a really nice touch. The whole process was very simple and efficient. The location of the flat is brilliant. Arthur's Seat and Holyrood Park are on your doorstep. Great if you want a walk/run before exploring the city, and of course good if you plan to scale Arthur's Seat itself. The Royal Mile is a short walk away, with all its many restaurants, and its a short walk up to the castle. There's parking, but we did not use this, and you certainly won't need it to explore the city from the location. There's also a small tesco's beneath the flat. I can't imagine we'd stay anywhere else if we visit the city again. Highly recommended!

Just utter comfort. The location was perfect, especially when we discovered a set of stairs -- a close I think it's called-- right next door that helped us avoid walking all the way up the hill to get to High Street. The view of Arthur's Seat was terrific and of course being right next to Holyrood and Parliament was terrific. Tesco next door also made provisions delightfully easy. Super comfortable beds and pillows. Great kitchen set up for breakfasts and snacks (could have cooked meals, but why bother?). Great bathrooms with plenty of fluffy towels. The washer/dryer unexpectedly came in handy when I spilled coffee on a pair of jeans I still wanted to wear. Brilliant. Highly recommend! 27 April 2016

Ms. Ciancia was very hospitable, and met us at the flat to show us around, discuss things to do in Edinburgh, and show us how to operate the utilities. She was very understanding and of good humor about the fact that I had the wrong address for the flat, despite having been sent the correct one multiple times, and waited for us to make our way there. This was a spacious unit, with two full bathrooms, very nice appointments, and plenty of space. All of the appliances worked well -- the kitchen was perfectly suitable for a week's stay, self-catering. It is very close to Holyrood Park / Arthur's Seat, which offers a number of scenic walking/hiking trails of varying difficulty, perfect for a morning walk. There is a Tesco Express (small but broad inventory of grocery items) just downstairs, which is extremely convenient. The building has an elevator/lift. We couldn't have asked for anything more. It was about a 15 minute walk from the airport bus stop which was quite convenient. Everything was quite comfortable, bed, pillows, duvet, etc. and plenty of towels. The apartment was one of the most well equipped I have stayed in with plenty of dishes and utensils along with cleaning supplies, even shampoo and soap in the bathrooms. Jayne was quite friendly and accommodating and showed us everything we needed to know upon arrival. We didn't have any problems with street noise as it's a couple of blocks from the main thoroughfares. "The host turned from the first contact by mail an efficient and caring kind person with immediate answers and attitude inspired confidence. EVERYTHING WAS OFFERED AS IS AND WAS PERFECT was like home nothing was missing what is necessary to be comfortable. We spent four days lindísimos and relaxed. Many thanks to Jayne and Tony was a pleasure staying at home, it is a home for the traveler.

Jayne and her husband were fantastic hosts and very helpful. It also has very good services near by. The only negative side is that our parking space did not have a roof, so in the morning our car was dirty as a result of birds and dirt.
